On behalf of the Vermilion Parish School System and the Vermilion Parish School Board, I want to thank you for visiting our webpage and taking an interest in the many great things happening with our schools, administrations, faculties and students. All of our stakeholders in the community play a vital role in the "village" that it takes to educate a child.

Our Vermilion Parish school system is very unique in the sense that we have five communities that are centered around the schools and each having characteristics specific unto themselves. It is my hope and our mission to bring the uniqueness of each of these communties together and have each contribute in some way to our "Vermilion United" vision.

We know that many obstacles are thrown our way each and every day, but I know that we will continue to do what is in the best interest of educating our students and work towards preparing them for the "real world" upon graduation. The challenges and changes of that world make it seem like an undauting task for us as educators and for you as parents, but together we must perservere and make sure we take care of our most precious resource of the future "our youth".

Thank you for entrusting me to lead this system. My philosophy of "Lead Hard, Love Harder" will always remain in the forefront of my leadership and I thank all of you who are part of my journey each and every day.
