Mrs. Katie and Mrs. Tabatha's classes celebrated finishing the novel Because of Winn Dixie with a Winn Dixie Party! They enjoyed chicken salad sandwiches, dump punch, pickles, litmus lozenges, and popcorn while watching the movie!




During the week, Ms Chelsea’s class took a practice interim test on all math material covered from the start of school until now! Here are the students with the top 3 scores in their class!!

Ms. Chelsea and Mrs. Hannah’s 5th grade scientists created crystal ornaments to discover the solubility of borax and hot water. After a day, they had crystallized ornaments! 🧪❄️




Thanks to our amazing parents and community, our entire staff enjoyed a special delivery from Just Fit Nutrition. We appreciate everyone who contributed! ❤️



First graders in Mrs.Durbin's class had a “Read In" day to celebrate 80 chain links. Students brought blankets, flashlights, and their favorite book to read. 📚🔦📚

Today during common planning we surprised teachers with our new banner!!! It's always nice to celebrate CPE's achievements.
We are proud to say, "We are Academic Champs!!"








5th grade students in Mrs. Annie’s ELA class have been practicing narrative writings while reading their novel “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.” Today, students pretended to be the evil villain of the novel, the White Witch, began brainstorming ideas for their narrative by participating in a shared writing with a friend. It was a great day for some creative writing! 🫶🏻





Mrs. Jennifer’s classes got to see Antarctica almost first hand!
Mrs. Jennifer’s nephew attends Texas A&M University and his Biomedical Science group traveled to Antarctica this past Thanksgiving break to conduct a few experiments. Mrs. Jennifer shared some of the amazing photos and videos with her classes today!





Mrs. Olivia's second graders started learning about Christmas around the World and focused on France today. They read that Pere Noel comes on December 5 to put a treat if you leave your shoes out. Pere Noel passed by their classroom this afternoon!
