Boyd-Venable from Mrs. Ramsey’s class and Dylan Leimetter from Mrs. Vice’s class for their achievement in art! Their drawings placed them a spot at the entry level position for the Vermilion Parish art contest.
📣Huge shoutout to these special student council members! Yardley and Brooke were the two young ladies who had the idea for the Buddy Benches, raised money with a lemonade stand, and made a donation to start this special project! Thank you girls for your service!📣

YES DAY WAS THE BEST DAY! Miss Lauren Keating’s kindergarten class celebrated 150 chain links with ALL THE THINGS! It was “the best day ever!”
Lynn reached over 100 AR points this year! She was treated to pizza for lunch by her teacher Mrs. Katie! Congrats Lynn on this great accomplishment. 📚
Mrs. Cristi’s Kindergarteners celebrated their 150 compliments with a YES day! Fun was had by all and included: pjs or free dress, cozy toes, chalk, extra recess, popsicles, cupcakes, and pie the teacher… just to name a few!!! The kiddos gave the day two thumbs up! 👍🏻

Mrs. Megan’s First graders became published authors with their book “Dare to Dream BIG”! Each student completed a page about what they would like to be when they grow up. Their futures are so bright! ☀️

Today the CPE 5th Graders toured the UL Training Facility and visited a few ball parks! CPE loves the Cajuns! ❤️🖤🤟🏻
CPE journeyed through the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s during Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week. We had dress days for adults everyday. On Wednesday students were able to dress and honor the favorite faculty members. Games were played, food was enjoyed and laughter filled the halls!! It was an amazing week.
Thank you to everyone who made this week happen. It was one for the books!!!
