National School Librarian Day
April 4, 2025, is National School Librarian Day. Our students, faculty, and staff want to say how much we appreciate our Librarian, Mrs. Amy LeBlanc. She works hard to set up the library and the programs that help students become better readers. Thanks, Mrs. Amy! We truly appreciate you! You are an asset to Erath High!
About Mrs. Amy!
Amy Broussard LeBlanc the librarian at EHS, and she also serves as the Pre-Educator Pathway Teacher Leader. She wears many other “hats” on campus in addition to teaching Educators Rising, Speech and Digital Media courses. This past summer, at the National Ed Rising Conference in Washington DC, Mrs. Amy was one of only two teachers in the nation recognized as an Educator Rising Champion in the Teacher Leader Division. She’s presented at state Ed Rising conferences the past two years. Last July, she was a teacher leader for the Louisiana Department of Education Aspiring Teacher Academy at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Mrs. Amy’s mission as a teacher is to ignite a spark in her students and empower them to grow as empathetic and confident communicators. Her career has become her calling, and she is a proud champion of the education profession. Mrs. Amy’s favorite thing about teaching is the relationships she cultivates with her students, and dress up days are a close 2nd FAVORITE! This is her 20th year in Education.
