On Wednesday, September 14, Gueydan High opened it's doors to the community for it's annual Open House, which is held every year to give families a chance to meet teachers, follow their students' schedules, and check up on their progress in the new year.
On hand to help things run were Junior and Senior class officers, including Shelly Robicheaux, Emily Lacomb, Annalise Breaux, Kendal Hanks, Shelly Robicheaux, Ryleigh Duprie, and Nikolas Lepretre. The officers helped by handing out progress reports, giving out information on Internet Safety and the importance of Good Attendance, and guiding families in need of direction.
We thank all teachers, students, and families for their participation in the event, and we send a special thanks to all the families that were able to attend for being an active part of their students' educational journeys. If you weren't able to make it, we hope to see you next year. Every Day is a Great Day to be a Bear!
