Gueydan High School

Mrs. Ava Couvillion Ellyson's Fine Arts students created works today that were inspired by fall and the Halloween season. Thea Spears, a guest artist, guided these students through the process of creating these acrylic paintings, applying the knowledge and skills learned in class to individual works of art. Pictured here with their paintings are, from left to right, Trevor Maricle, Ethan Vincent, Nikolas Lepretre, Ryleigh Duprie, Taylor Guidry, and Jase Labauve. Ms. Ava finds every opportunity to provide her students with the chance to apply what they’ve learned and use their skills to be creative. We look forward to seeing more artwork from these students!
