On Friday, February 10th, in front of the assembled student body of Gueydan High School and surrounded by friends and family, senior Micah Marceaux put pen to paper and signed his Letter of Intent to play football as a member of the Louisiana Christian University Wildcats in Pineville, Louisiana starting in the Fall of 2023.
Micah's hard work, dedication, and accomplishments during his career as a Gueydan Bear were lauded by Coach Lance Myers, who also showed the student assembly video of some of the standout offensive lineman's key blocks from his senior season before showing off the championship ring that Micah earned when his team won the Gridiron Football All American Bowl in January. Micah's family and friends then joined him to celebrate as Micah made his football future official. Congratulations to Micah and his family, Thank you for being a model student, athlete, and member of this community. Best of luck at Louisiana Christian. Though you may be a Wildcat now, you'll always be a Bear!
