What is something people would never guess about you?
I never actually took an Ag class in high school (my school didn’t offer Ag)
What inspired you to become a teacher?
My love of teaching people about agriculture and where their food comes from!
Did you graduate from Kaplan high school?
No- Ascension Catholic High School in Donaldsonville, LA
What Grade levels and subjects do you teach?
9-12 I teach Agriscience 1, Ag Leadership, Ag 3 and Carpentry.
If you had to pick another subject to teach, what would it be?
A science
What is your dream vacation?
Caribbean Island, Italy or Greece
What are your favorite hobbies?
Reading, running, and riding horses
What do you love about teaching at KHS?
I love our school’s amazing sense of community and pride.
I love the feeling of family we have on our faculty and how we all want our students to succeed.
I love being able to offer the students something different that they might not get to experience otherwise, such as working in the vegetable garden and the chicken coop.
