I am married to Kevn Bigot of Erath, and we have a son named Bryce who is 24 years old. I have been in the education system for 27 ½ years. I am a 1991 graduate of Erath High School, but I am a native of Abbeville. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education for grades 1-8 from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, and my master’s degree in Educational Leadership at the American College of Education. I began my education journey in Iberia Parish for my first ten years and then moved to Vermilion Parish where I served as a teacher at Erath Middle School for twelve years. In the last 5 years, I have served as Assistant Principal at Rene Rost Middle School, Dozier Elementary, and most recently Erath Middle School.
