On Thursday and Friday, Vermilion principals and assistant principals participated in our 3rd annual back to school administrator conference. The event was held at North Vermilion High School.
Superintendent Byler and his executive leadership team, along with supervisors from the central office led sessions for two days on essential information to start the 2023-2024 school year.
The theme for the conference "Relentless Pursuit' resonated throughout the conference and was the driving force behind many of the sessions.
"I absolutely loved the theme. It was such a thought provoking theme that seen throughout all of our presentations. This was my first conference and it was great," said new Erath Middle Assistant Principal Lisa Lynch.
Mrs. Kim Etie', assistant superintendent, and members of her team spearheaded the conference theme, decorations and curriculum sessions, while Byler and Assistant Superintendent Marc Turner cover a variety of topics in managerial and operational needs.
"It was an awesome two days. Our administrators were attentive, shared great ideas, asked very well thought out questions and most importantly had a great fun filled two days, " said Etie'.
"We know prepare to share the same enthusiasm and present information to our new teachers next Wednesday and to all teachers next Thursday at our parish inservice," shared Turner.
Thanks to all who contributed in making this a great event.
