5th Grade Scientists have been studying the investigation question: Why do we see different stars at different times of the year?
To find out this answer, each group was assigned a constellation, did research on their constellation, and made a poster. We placed the constellations in order around the sun, using the Amplify Sim. We then added the months of the year to our model. This helped us to learn that we see stars at different times of the year because of earths position in its orbit around the sun.
