Today, the Louisiana Department of Education released the School Scores, LEAP 2025 State testing results based on last school year's LEAP testing. Even with all of the challenges our teachers and students faced, our school still showed great growth! Our school grew 2.6 points and as a result is now officially a B School! Thank you to every one who has helped us grow to this goal!
On Friday, November 18, 2022 we will officially celebrate this recognition. We will have a BALL! Students will be granted an extended recess from 1-2. We will have plenty of basketballs, footballs, and soccer balls for students to play with! We will also blast music and bubbles! Students are encouraged to dress according to the theme. Outfits MUST be school appropriate (no ugly words or inappropriate images). We will allow blue jeans or joggers at no cost. NO leggings or shorts that are not uniform shorts. We encourage students to dress for the B theme. This could be bandanas, blue jeans, blue shirts, baseball caps, baseball or basketball shirts, buttons, beanie, blazer, ballet shirt, bathrobe (with school approved clothes underneath), beret, blouse, boots, bow tie, bee, banana. Bathing suits are not allowed.
