ELA students in Mrs. Dina Abshire's class held a mock trial for the narrator in "The Tell-Tale Heart". ELA students in 8th grade for the prosecution and defense teams used evidence from the text to prove if the narrator was guilty or innocent. Each student had a role in the trial very similar to an actual court trial.
